Bridlington Churches

Bessingby, St Magnus

Legend has it that Magnus, the godly ruler of Orkney, was murdered by his jealous cousin. The cathedral in Orkney's capital, Kirkwall, bears his name, and this little church in the Yorkshire Wolds is a one-third scale replica.

The church is popular for baptisms, weddings and Christmas services. It is linked to St Mark's West Hill and is part of the Christ Church Bridlington network of churches.

We hold fortnightly services here during the summer (between Pentecost and Harvest). They are on the first and third Sundays of the month, at 9.30 am.

Next Service Sunday 25th October : Reflective Prayer 10 am
